Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Meerkat platform (“Service”), operated by Meerkat ApS, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Meerkat provides an automated penetration testing platform that allows users to conduct authorised security assessments against their own infrastructure or infrastructure for which they have explicit written permission.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will:

• Only scan targets you own or have explicit written authorisation to test.
• Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
• Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
• Not attempt to disrupt or compromise the integrity of the Service.
• Not resell or redistribute access to the Service without written permission.

4. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

5. Payment & Subscriptions

Platform access is billed monthly. All fees are quoted exclusive of applicable taxes. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access will continue until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Meerkat ApS and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your scan results and reports belong to you.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Meerkat ApS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Meerkat ApS harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service, including any scans conducted against targets without proper authorisation.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Denmark.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
